Earning to QF on KA operated flight?

Is someone able to confirm my understanding that flights on a CX flight number, on KA metal, earn to QF (appropriate fare bucket assumed). Cheers.

Yes. Done it many times.

You'll also get points on KA code, so don't feel like you need to have a CX code in the booking.

I have had some cheap seats not credit on a KA flight number. QF later confirmed the fare was not an earning fare for points or SCs.

Same rules apply re fare buckets regardless of it being CX or KA once they became full OW affiliates, as always check the earn, we are spoiled by QF having all their buckets earn.
