Earning points on Cathay Pacific

Well if we think about CX PER HKG or HKG TPE (120 and 80 respectively), the earn is in line with a Qantas flight of similar length (QF SYD HKG is 120, SYD PER is 80). It's just the competing routes such as the aforementioned SYD HKG where you earn half (60).

I think PER-HKG is one of the only routes I know of that QF codeshares with CX on as far as I know.

Sorry, another question from me

I've booked a business cash fare with Cathay on their website (Class P according to the e-ticket) and have entered my QFF number in the CX MMB portal.

Previously it was my Asiamiles account number however I'd prefer to have my QFF number in there as Asiamiles isn't as / that useful to me.

Looking at the QFF Earn tables, I'd be eligible for some points and SCs - is this correct?

I'm assuming that I'd get 3k QFF points and 120SCs from this Cathay booking?

Sorry for the question, as I've only ever redeemed classic reward seats for CX business, but this time round it's a cash fare due to no award seats being available

So I've now taken my CX flights which were a few days ago - on the 3rd and 4th respectively.

I assume that it'll take a few days for the above points and SCs to post onto my QFF account?

I've already received points and SCs from my QF flight which I took yesterday.

Asia Miles can be earned only in eligible fare classes on

• flights marketed and operated Qantas
