Hey guys,
I'm trying to book some accomodation in the US for July August. I'll be travelling to several cities, often staying only 1 night in each location. I'm a HIlton Honors member so usually stay and book thru the Hilton website, but since I've recently started accruing to QF, I thought I'd see how I can go about geting some QF miles for my stays.
So, I got onto the QF website and started searching for hilton properties (which are a QF partner). Problem is the prices are, in some cases, 3 times more expensive than if booked directly thru Hilton.
According to the QF website, points can be earned, on 'eligable rates' if the stay is booked thru a Travel Agent or 3rd party website¨(like Hilton.Com). But it doesn't stipulate what an eligable rate is. I'm presuming its not the full rack rate as thats like only earning miles on a full Y class airfare.
Does anybody know, or can anybody point me in the right direction?
Cheers,
