Earning Gold in 12 months outside of Rollover Date

Got a question. My rollover date is end of July at which stage I will be at about 80% required to qualify for Gold. Have re-qualified for Silver already.

I won't qualify for Gold by end of July, but would qualify if my year ran Oct to Sep, due to overseas flights last October and this coming September.

What are the chances of convincing QFF to honour Gold on the 12 month qualification period?

I don't have the points / $$ / time to do a status run, and 99% of my travel is work-related, often on Red E-Deals.

So you need 120SC? Can you earn any bonus QFF points from Credit Card offers, bonus points with Everyday reward spends at WOW, Big W, BWS etc. I am sure you could get them SC's if you really want them.

That's a bummer. Tough love means it's fair for all!

If you're a certainty for SG next year I'd go ahead and get the SC this membership year however, if it's a once off don't bother.

There is a link available in the thread where you can log into your account and see if it's a go or not, however the flights need to be booked between April and June anyway, so if they were booked earlier it wouldn't matter.




If you have a spare weekend, it may cost you less than a QP membership to earn those 120Sc.

SC's can only be earnt by flying, no amount of money spent on credit cards will get you any SC's. Unless of you course you use those points to then book an "any seat award".

Well that's what I was alluding too. If the OP can get enough points by whatever means and then use the points for JASA's to get them elusive SC's.
