Received this email from BP Rewards this morning. May be of interest to those who had issues with the 5c/L discount + 5x bonus points offer last month.

Looks like they're now identifying all customers who missed out due to the POS offer and awarding compensation points.

So another 1,000 points now in my QFF account, on top of the previous 1,000 they provided after I made a complaint re this offer. 2,000 points for $130 worth of fuel not a bad outcome.

Wow great deal - unfortunately my discount did work! Now I wish it hadn't... I am still just under 400 short of the 1000 points needed in this category...

Binge just posted a $2 for the first month subscription Black Friday promotion. Does anyone know whether this would allow me to fulfil the Qantas 10 SC requirement? Or not because the earning status on the ground can’t be used in conjunction with any other binge offers?

Has to be through the Qantas clickthrough so it is the usual $19 per month.

That might explain the 500 points I got yesterday @05flyer ?

I drive an EV so I can’t use any petrol offers at BP. I just downloaded the app because I haven’t used the app for a long time. I see there’s a 10X points offer if you buy certain items from the shop.

Not really keen to buy $100 worth of junk food but I’m in a bit of a sticky situation where I think I’m going to need these 10 status credits to tip over into gold early next year.

Are there any other strategies people are using to get 1000 QF points other than complaining to BP and getting a compensation? 😂

In the larger locations you could probably muddle together a somewhat overpriced grocery shop? Stick to staples and maybe add some car wash stuff and the like, as well. On the car wash, I wonder if prepaying for car wash services at locations that have an auto wash would count towards the spend.

Unfortunately, my 10 X offer is only on a few items: Smith Minis, Cadbury favourites and Dare. That’s a lot of chocolate flavoured milk for $100!

Oh - that sucks. I’ve had similar to these promos and they were for anything in the shop. Might have only been 3x or 5x points though.

How about boxes of Favourites for small Xmas gifts?

As a public service warning, that 10x points only works once so make sure you buy all $100 at once if you go down that path

Yes possibly, but strange that you only received 500. Did you get an email from BP like I did?
Haven't checked as we are not at home^ but did receive email and 1000 points in the first week of October when I didn't get the discount or x 5 promo points.
(^ spending too much time scrolling AFF between medical appointments!)

Update: Checked webmail, au rewards email late Monday evening re 500 points.
I did make a further BP fuel transaction that same week but didn't bother contacting them.
A bit of a win win ✔️
