Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

My emails from BP say nothing about the 5x points, it was an email from Qantas that did. And reading the T&Cs
That's true. Good spot in the T&Cs, perhaps the points are still to come then. An odd way to run the offer if so. Seems inevitable to cause confusion, given most would be used to BP awarding bonus points at time of transaction.

Has anyone successfully received both the discount and the bonus points so far?

I had base points post today. A discount applied but I didn't check whether it's the QF or AGL discount

Yes, but I think in @ChrisMars case the discount was applied, just not the bonus points. Wonder if that might have something to do with it? Everyone else that's received the 1,000 points has missed out on both discount and bonus points, I think.

Either way - surely BP are responsible for calculating the amount of points credited (given fuel variants, extra in-store purchases, etc), and Qantas just passes that amount on.
Yea, got the discount
Email comes from [email protected]

Damnit…. Just saw I received the BP 5c/litre offer. Problem is, I’m only just encountering back home from HBA now so zero chance to take advantage of it 🙁

There is currently a promo with Qantas Hotels for intl x6 on international hotels. Fairly easy to hit 1K points cheaply whilst staying somewhere.

Bit OT: Does anyone know whether you get the full points on Qantas Hotels for using a voucher? A thread from 2023 said yes but does anyone have any recent experience?

Hi there, in May 2024 I used a $50 Qantas Hotels voucher, and did NOT get points on those $50 - sorry 😥

Hi all, I just got the message in my App that I'd completed another category... this would be for transferring the minimum 10k IHG points to 2k Qantas points. I want to thank this community for suggesting it as I would never have considered that a points transfer from a hotel would count for this promo

In hindsight tho, 10k IHG points is worth AU$80-100 on a hotel booking, not great value for 10 SC's - I guess I got caught up in the buzz, and I think I'll look a little harder at the rest of the categories before jumping blindly in

Same experience in July this year using the $100 voucher. I received 3 points per dollar for the spend on top of the voucher, plus PC+ and business rewards points.

Thank you, very useful information! I know the feeling of being caught up in the promotion. Wanting to hit as many categories as possible is a real temptation.

i’m still very confused about earning points from the Qantas well-being app. Some have said points from day-to-day activities will qualify. Others say it will not as I don’t have binge The only way to get from this category for me would be through the Qantas well-being app.

Personally I think you did the right thing, and I would make that exchange anytime they care to offer it, as I think it is a good deal. Remember as well as the status credits you got 2000 Qantas points which must be worth AU$10-20.

Of course you can get better value with status credits on flights, but you have to also take into account the time spent and hassle of getting a flight if it is purely a status run. For me avoiding that is well worth AU$8-10 per status credit, but of course everyone will have their own different values in time and money.

Of course if you were intending to fly anyway the equation is different.

As posted @_TheTraveller_ you only get points on your actual spend ie does not include your voucher spend.
Same with Qantas Wine. Recent 2025 experience with both Hotel and Wine.

The Ts&Cs specifically exclude QF wellbeing points earn.

I already did the spend for 2 categories before the promo started but was able to get the points during the promo period and have that count. A 3rd category required spending just a little more for something I would have got anyway.

Wondering whether to leave it at that.

I enjoy flying and even the full 110 SC from all categories available combined is not much out of the 1200 SC to retain WP.

Yet when you click on the Health, Leisure and Entertainment box, QF Wellbeing is listed as a way to earn points alongside Binge, Kayo, and Hoyts.
Yet, they also post as “Insurance”…

Guess we’ll see in due course. Let’s see who’s shaking their phones fast enough to rack up 1000 pts 😂

Meanwhile, the Ts&Cs appear to be silent on Red Planet surveys. But they’ve stopped posting to accounts since late September…
