They’ll be sending out occasional update emails from what I’ve read. Think you need to be opted into a certain marketing communications category in your QFF settings to receive them.Is there a way to know which category we have completed?
Welcome to AFF @slall621I've just referred someone instead - 1500 points for that. Assume it still counts as earning via Red Energy

Which gift cards did you buy?Got a notification of 3 categories and it just got updated. So it looks like,
- Marriott Bonvoy transfers count
- Qantas Marketplace Digital Gift cards count
- Everyday Rewards is still under the dining category.
It was digital gift cards and it was named that way in the points activity. Took about 1-2 days after the transaction for the number to update from 2 to 3 in the app notification.Which gift cards did you buy?
Thanks. Hopefully it's just a delay. My GCs have posted as "Everyday wish digital gift card".It was digital gift cards and it was named that way in the points activity. Took about 1-2 days after the transaction for the number to update from 2 to 3 in the app notification.
It’s under “My QFF” but if you click on the “X” to remove it - then it will be gone until you get another. The pop up showing the category completion has disappeared from my app![]()
My app shows a qualifying transaction from AMEX points posting.Did anyone get a notification from banking - got waft should be qualifying Qudos points dated Oct 3, but no notification.
I certainly hope they don't, if it would jeapordise the ability to earn SCs on award tickets, and/or take lounge access away from PC+ members.I am actually floating the idea whether the earning status credits on the ground will eventually replace Points Club and Points Club Plus?
If Qantas can allow 1 SC earn for $x spend in each of the categories of Qantas branded activities, then Qantas would have avoided gifting everyone 100 SCs once they have reached PCP. From customers perspective, the replacement of 110 SCs would be more and counted towards LTG, whilst from Qantas perspective, it would have saved the money and encouraged more Qantas branded spend which at the end they could have earned more commissions from selling those products.
The benefits of PC and PCP could have been integrated into status bonuses - for example for each 200 SC earn you are gifted with $50 wine voucher, which would have been further boosted the sales at Qantas wine, considering the margin they would have been getting.
Sounds like a feasible business plan?
PC/PC+ is a shed load of spending. This current offer is probably more like a DSC offer - can’t be relied on.I am actually floating the idea whether the earning status credits on the ground will eventually replace Points Club and Points Club Plus?
