Looking to go to UK Mar/Apr 2010 and wondering if and when the major airlines announce their earlybird fares ? When is the best time to book for that time of year ? Anyone with a crystal ball? Is qantas likely to do the 2 for 1 again ?
The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
A couple of airlines have released them already, the rest will follow over the next week or so.
The best time to book it in round 1 of the earlybirds ending in December, especially with some of the airlines likely to offer a price guarantee which seems to suggest they wont have better specials out later.
Have you seen any good fares yet TG? I was very happy with $1500 MEL-LHR return on QF Y earlier this year... hoping for something similar again around the start of April.

www.bestflights.com.au is a good mailing list to be on to know what is around (while I have used them a number of times without problem, have heard other accounts of hefty cancellation fees and some cases taken to consumer tribunals).
You don't mention where in australia you would be departing, but there is a Asiana special from SYD on now for that period $1349 - a few sites are listing it.
