Early arrival at LAX

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of some place to sleep, rest or eat for a few hours before I head to my friend's friends' apartment. My flight arrives around 6:30 but I can't be there until 8 at the earliest. I believe Four Points has a 24hr check in but I wouldn't want to pay for a night. I am not familiar with LAX or the surrounding area, so any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome to AFF,

I would assume after landing at 6.30am you will not be through customs and immigration until well after 8am so no need to worry about where to stay.

Unless you mean 8pm and then I am sure you will need to find a lounge you can access. Many hotels have day rates but another member will need to point you in the direction of names.

Yes you are right - 8am. I've only travelled to Asia lately and the most time I've spent has been at Changi. I guess I've been spoilt by that experience. I didn't think it would take that long to clear customs and immigration.

I think you would struggle getting to the apartment by 8am let along get rest somewhere.
