Earliest check in - NRT on QF ?

just wanted to maximise my time at the first lounge and perhaps get some work done and enjoy the lounge at the same time.... but was wondering what would be the earliest one could check in? 3 hours prior?

Thanks for any advice :)

p.s. i hope its not from 5pm like it says on the website but i guess if it is then thats the way it is.....
