Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

I stopoed receiving email notifications a few months back. Have not bothered to go into e-rewards account. I was earning quite a lot of e-rewards points every month.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

It could/could it be possible that one you have answered a certain number of surveys, or your interest level as to what surveys you receive gets to be "all" answered, something somewhere stops you from receiving offers?
Maybe someone discovered this e-rewards thing got too expensive for group/organisation to pay.
Like JohnK says, e-rewards have just dried up. Not even one survey!
Apart from checking, where mostly it might say, no surveys available, please check back again soon.
I haven't checked my account either, good thing e-rewards points don't expire. Guess they don't.

Because "Velocity" invited.
Good that the way to earn e-rewards via Velocity still exists.
Not to mention, nearly forgot, you can also exchange e-rewards points for Woolworths shopping vouchers, its all that electronic way of swapping the e-rewards QR code, and in the black and white slots, and typing in your PIN # at the Woolworths outlet for $20 off your shopping.
Good luck in all your quests for e-rewards points.
NOTE that some of the questions can be deep, and can take 45 mins to do for some surveys.
A bit of a time waste too, some of them surveys are.

Survey question I got the other week.

Why, yes. I am planning on scouring ebay and old garage sales for the oldest TV I can find!

I got screened out (pun alert) of that one. Also a similar one about refrigerators, had no idea there were so many different types.

At least there are partial points for being dumped, unlike Red Planet, plus immediate offers of another survey. But some of the surveys are insanely long.

Sometimes, well often, when its a long survey and they have comment boxes, I type, "Survey too long, losing (or lost) the will to live".

Wonder if anyone reads them.

Lol. I hope they take that feedback onboard. Had another very long survey tonight about telcos.

But the overall e-Rewards impression is still very positive compared to Red Planet.

Yes some surveys are easy to get the points, others really put you through the hoops. I have found e-rewards very useful in keeping some of my more minor FF programs ticking over (e.g. Avios, United, AA and hotels - Hilton, Carlson, Choice).

Of course more than one FF/Hotel program offers the chance to join e-rewards.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

Signed up via the link earlier in the thread for an 850 velocity point bonus and have already completed 2 surveys (and been not eligible for 2 more) so have collected 500 points for not very much work.

Assuming they keep coming through this seems like a nice little earner to keep things ticking along, that I can do in between tasks at work/on the couch of an evening.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

Had 11 surveys tonight, completing two for 300 points each and collecting 25-50 consolation points for each of the rest.

So much better than Red Planet ...

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

I've earned around 20k Velocity points using eRewards. It tends to be in fits and starts - when I have a specific points use in mind. I probably should be more dedicated but it can get a bit soul destroying after a while.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

You will need minimum 2000 e-rewards points, just like Flybuys before being able to transfer to/get a reward.

Only 1,200 for me. I have four Reward Centre redemption options (all on Velocity with no other partners shown):-

Code:
1,200 Opinion Points > 250 Velocity Points
2,000 Opinion Points > 500 Velocity Points
3,500 Opinion Points > 1,000 Velocity Points
6,000 Opinion Points > 2,000 Velocity Points

Tonight got offered a "unique" Nielsen survey with a $35 incentive (not sure how that's going to work):-

Total Survey 5 hours
First Section - Demographics, Magazines & Newspapers 32 minutes
Section A - About You 20 minutes
Section 3 - Travel 6 minutes
Section B - Part 1 Mobile Technology 10 minutes
Section B - Part 2 Home and Internet 18 minutes
Section C - Media 65 minutes
Section D - Food & Quick Service Restaurant 25 minutes
Section E - Beverages 10 minutes
Section F - Alcohol Beverages 10 minutes
Section G - Pet & Pet Food 3 minutes
Section H - Health & Toiletries 5 minutes
Section I - Finance 35 minutes
Section J - Motor Vehicle 10 minutes
Section K - Shopping & Retail 46 minutes
Section L - Real Estate 5 minutes

I am a middle aged male living in Brisbane and my experience over last few months is that there are limited surveys for me. They must not be interested in the opinion of the household member that controls the money/pays the wife's and daughter's credit card.

Re: E-rewards: got invited via Accor, participated, got to about 25,000 e-reward poin

...One trick I do is open very old survey link emails again, they often lead to surveys that are not listed on your ereward account. Weird but again, all adds up.

This week alone I earned 3200 ereward points.

Denali, you are doing extremely well to earn 3200 e-rewards points in a week. I'd be lucky to earn that number in six weeks.

Like others, I often get screened out despite paying the bills and making many decisions for the household. I try my best to be consistently honest with e-rewards and not to lie about my age or intentions in the hope of qualifying for more surveys, as market research is legitimate and can on occasion lead to companies improving their offerings in a way that benefits consumers.

I agree with others that the earnings rates per minute dramatically vary from good to pathetic. There doesn't seem to be any clear pattern about this.

I'm a 50-something female living in Perth and that seems to screen me out of a lot of surveys LOL. Other "nope, you're not eligible" reasons seem to be I don't smoke, don't drink alcohol and don't have kids. That's not just for e-rewards either, it happens with most survey sites.
