I bought the Dyson V6 hand-held one. Wonder how it compares to this DC50? Never used a Dyson before...

It makes me very happy that so many were able to take advantage of this great offer!

Just collected my unit without any problems.

So once I get the twins to bed, I'll be putting together the new Dyson.

Now I need to find a home for my old one!

Fantastic!

The boss is after a smal hand held Dyson for xmas so very timely. Purchased the DC58 Animal for $255 v DJs@$370ish. Plus an extra 1k QFF pts to boot!

Thanks OP for posting! :)

Considered getting one of these as a Christmas present for SWMBO however thought better of it. Bought one anyway as our old thing is rubbish. SWMBO approved the purchase in retrospect and added "that's a great price!" ;)

Didn't see this before today and we're in the market. Too late it seems - eBay Good Guys has the DC50 for $699 now.

Did anyone else only get credited for 2pts per $ spend with these purchases? I'm pretty sure the QF online store was give double (4pts per $) for eBay at the time.

Have been using it for a few weeks and I really like it

Me too however the cylinder is pretty small and I have to keep emptying it - at least it's easy to do!

I think it's best suited for apartments / smaller homes and not full size family homes.

Yes you are right and I am only in a 2 bedroom apartment so it's handy here.

I would do it the same way as outlined originally by the OP ie go to www.qantaspoints.com/onlinemall then search for ebay and from there do a search for "Good Guys Dyson DC50" or similar. That way the cookes will track your ebay purchase back to the QF online mall and you'll earn Qantas Points.
