Transferring from A380 EK415 to B777 EK 721. Officially 1:50 ground time

The EK A380 fleet exclusively uses T3 A gates.
What is the best way to transfer within T3 from A to C gates. (One booking for both flights)

Additionally:
2 people travelling (same flights different booking) one is EK F and the other is EK Y. Can EK F passenger invite EK Y passenger into EK F lounge? Both no status with EK or QF.
Then QF F lounge or EK J/F lounge?

Inflight:
Can EK Y passenger go to in flight bar with EK F passenger?

Thanks all

Last time i did this was from EK F to the J lounge. Off plane, first through the security re-screen, up into the terminal, across to the transfer train, wait or train (couple of mins) get out of train, up to concourse then up to lounge. All up took about 20-25m.

Sorry can't give definite answer. Even if the official answer is no, wont hurt to ask!

Same answer as second above.

Others will be more reliable / valuable answering the second and third parts.

I heard there are buses between A and C, trains between A and B, and walk between B and C?

So everyone that gets off an airplane in DXB has to go through security screening upon disembarkation, or is it like Singapore security screen is at the departure gate?

I did this at EK in reverse 2 weeks ago and as we disembarked from the 777 we were directed by people holding signs to different buses depending on our next destination and were driven straight to the correct terminal for the next flight.

But I have previously walked it, although I do not particularly recommend that o_O

IME security screening has been as you enter the new terminal, so neither immediately on disembarkation nor at the departure gate. It's such a huge airport though, it might vary depending on the circs.

A380s don't just use Concourse A, they also use B just fyi (no 777s at A though).

When you land, you'll need to clear security. As you're flying first, you have a priority lane. Take your friend in Y with you, as if you land @DXB at midnight you'll save a lot of time. Don't believe you can guest into FL but can into BL. Worth a shot but don't be surprised when you're shot down. Lounges are best to worst A->B->C. B and C are effectively the same concourse, but it's a LONG walk between B31 and C1 (20min+) so allow plenty of time to get to your gate.

IMHO just go to the BL closest to your departing gate, grab a drink and relax before your onwards flight, it's not that bad, but it can be a bit of a zoo.
