Hi Everyone, if getting off a cruise in Sydney with Duty Free Spirits then fly onto Perth DO I have to put the Duty Free in the hold luggage? Or are we allowed to take it on as hand luggage? Just confused as it being liquids , look forward to your feedback.

Domestic flights from a domestic terminal are not subject to LAGS so no issues.

Go for the hand luggage - SYD has a special luggage scanner which identifies items containing full glass bottles and flags them for special handling.

In other countries I've had to keep it in the sealed duty free bag when going through security for domestic flights, but I haven't done the same thing in AU since the liquids restrictions were eased.
