I want to pick up a couple of things from Burberry - my only real materialistic inclination is for bags and purses. I have a trip next weekend, so I have the time to hit the Burberry store in Perth and claim the tax back from the TRS on the way out. However, I'm flying through DXB on my way to Africa, and presumably they have a Burberry store there or at least some kind of presence in one of the duty free outlets (it's been a while since I last transited there)?
Does anybody have any idea what the duty free prices for bags are like at DXB? Are they comparable to Australia? More expensive? Just trying to make a decision on whether to buy here and do the whole TRS thing, or whether to wait until I get to Dubai.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
