Flying QF1 in 3 weeks SYD - LHR. Will be taking some wine with me to give to someone, and will get in at SYD duty free.
Not worried about saving money/duty free rip off etc etc.
As we transit through Dubai, will I have to take the wine off the aircraft and then bring it back on?
Are there any LAGS rules to worry about if I have to take it off the plane?

It's usually fine heading to London, but coming back to Australia they do searches at the gate and confiscate any liquids over 100ml at DXB.

I wouldn't risk it - sometimes you can leave on board sometimes not. Why not just buy the wine at dan murphy's and put it in your checked luggage...
