Dubai Visa Requirements

According to this, Australia and NZ passport holders no longer require to purchase a visa.

I did not require a Visa when I was there in March Last year.

Did you use your APEC or Aust Passport?

I just remember reading some website that required a Visa at 500 Dinas (UAE Currency?)

It has been many years since a visa was required pre-arrival into the UAE.
Even in the last few years, there has never been a requirement to purchase a visa - for aussies anyway.

Also, the APEC card will do you no good - UAE is of couse not part of APEC.
Finally Dirhams not Dinars - irrelevant anyway.

Ahhhhh.....keep getting my Dubai and Brunei mixed up.
