Dubai to Edinburgh experiences.

Has anyone flown this route with Emirates and is it a busy flight? I’m doing ADL-DXB-EDI in July. Just curious. Thanks

I think how busy the flights will be will depend more on the time of year than the route. July is very peak season for travel to Europe, so I would expect full flights.

Yes. I just had a look at what’s going on in Edinburgh with the Fringe and the Tattoo being the two big things that will be kicking off on the 2nd Aug. I imagine it will be a fairly busy flight.

We flew to EDI in April last year and it was a full flight - I found likes of expats using the route.

Depends on which day, Mon to Wed OK. But the rest of the week full. We find Qatar much better, and sit at the back of the plane and quite often get a row to ourselves. Be warned Edinburgh Airport is a hole, and getting thru immigration is slow, we use our British passports so use e gates.
