Dubai Connect conditions

have just secured Frequent Flyer Seats on the Sydney to Singapore with QF 5 then Emirates EK 355 Singapore to Dubai arriving at 00:55 ... the next day . The next flight is EK 143 departing at 14:25 to Madrid. Is this flight going to qualify for the complimentary hotel stay.

As long as there's not an earlier flight to Madrid I would say it does.

But the terms and conditions also state that:
"Eligibility to ‘Dubai Connect’ will be determined against a minimum fare type paid for your Emirates flight. This is indicated during the booking process."
