I've put this in the Open forum as DRW residents might not see it on the MH forum.
Just received an email from Malaysian Enrich loyalty saying they have a 50% discount redemption sale on DRW-KUL & vv. This brings down the cost to 7000 Enrich points + Taxes in Y (22500 in J).
Not many people are Enrich members but you can join for free and you get 1000 free points when you sign up. You can get Enrich miles by transferring from Amex MR. But with MH you can also use cash & points as long as you have at least 1000 Enrich points in your account. For a Y redemption, the cash & points prices up at just over 1c/pt so the total cost is about $225 each way

From a quick look around this seemed like a good fare from NT to Asia (apologies if its not)
