Myself and the Bundy Bear are planning a couple of drinks/dinner in or very near Perth CBD this Sunday 16/11. Informal and not late (kick off around 5 or 6 PM). Exact time and venue TBD. If anyone cares to join us please sing out.

Sounds like the start of a good night - I wish I could make it.

May be in on this. Will decide once location sorted as I'm waiting to hear from friends about that evening.

what a pity i won't be in town till the 21st. although i will likely be on transit in the QP anyways :P

Probable location Adelphi at Hilton @ 6PM, but I'm open to good alternate CBD suggestions.

Angels cut/trustee bar. Just round the corner, much better menu and larger drink selection.

Bundy knows it ;)

Or any of the numerous other bars in that general area- Brookfield place

What sort of drinks and food did you have in mind. There is an amazing japanese-fusion/modern restaurant bar there too.

Trustee doesn't appear to open Sundays?

That could pose an issue, lack of bar service and all.

My next votes are Canton Bay- apparently amazing Chinese, I've not been. It's a short walk from the Hilton [good for the health ;) ]
Or Old Crow. Northbridge, so a bit further away, but serves a very decent dish. Southern USA style food. Think meat and sauce.

Group PM has been sent to some likely Perth attendees.

I do enjoy a good meal at the Adelphi! Subject to some minor custodial conflicts. I'll be there.

Alas I was just in Perth (albeit only overnight).

And it's unlikely I will be able to arrange for the 4.5 hour drive back :-(

I am in the US until 27th so just think of me working. I did get $1,000 of Flemings Steakhouse gift cards from Costco on my Amex card for $799.90 ast night so it will be dinner time in Salt Lake and Los Angeles shortly.
