I've been known to keep an eye on the fares to CMB. And recently I noted quite reasonable exPER QF fares connecting to the QF code share on UL in SIN. Sale fare pretty generally in the AU$530 range one way. (I won't use QF SIN-PER because of the arrival time at night)
Today I received a 50% bonus SC offer for QF flights to CMB. The May sale fares are now AU$608 and the closer dates even more ridiculous. So an extra 22 SC (or so) for $70 more? Sorry the JQ Max fares via DPS offer a great deal more flexibility even if the A330 seat is more comfortable. And the opportunity for a inexpensive I class fare KUL-CMB (bid for upgrade?) means 80SC.
