Just did a search and to my surprise, no results for Doubletree Jakarta on AFF?

So, has anyone stayed there and if so is it OK? How good are they with HH benefits? Do they share the loyalty love a bit further than the Ts&Cs state (eg, how likely would it be for my daughter to get my diamond benefits, like lounge access and breakfast)?

Any experiences will be appreciated.

Fairly unimpressive reports, I thought. Seems like a bit of penny pinching going on there with Gold denied breakfast and exec upgrades even when available. Sounds like diamonds fair OK though, but not sure if that would be extended to family like Aussie hotels tend to do.

I've stayed here multiple times and love the place (HH Diamond).

Pros:
Get lots of love from staff all over the hotel, especially in the Exec Lounge
Breakfast buffet spread is superb
I've always had checkout extended to 4 or 5pm as I'm normally headed to SYD on QF42
Evening drinks and canapés: decent ambience, variety of decent finger food, drinks are a cheap selection though
Decent pool area, never been crowded

Cons:
Average location
Limo transfer to/from airport is expensive (IDR500,000++ one way) but blue taxi is usually 170,000 to 200,000 including tolls one way

I stayed there a couple of months ago. Probably the most lux DT I've stayed in in Southeast Asia (compared with KL, BKK, JHB, MEL) and the cheapest. Pool great. Breakfasts grand and amenities just sumptuous. Try the spa as it is great and really cheap. I got a great facial on promo for $25 and felt as fresh as a spring morning.

It is out of the way though and with Jakarta's traffic it can take hours to get to and from the main tourist sites. If you're not familiar with the place you may want to stick closer to the Menteng roundabout where the malls and 5 star hotels are clustered.
