Received an offer (which looks targeted) for double VFF points for flights in April to June 2016. No registration required, just book according to the T&C.

I already have a number of flights booked for this period using the triple point promotion at Christmas. Still, it may not be a bad way to book a few flexis to use up my new WP J upgrades (when I finally get out of my 'review' period).

I too got this, after I booked a slew of QF flights last week for this time frame (first time i've booked so many QF flights in probably 4 years too). Shame, as my VA points balance is currently 52 after I burned my balance :(

Both Mrs andye and I received this offer. We had a trip to ADL planned but not ticketed so decent timing

I got this as well. Booked my flight with VA yesterday for travel during this period. The same thing has happened to me a number of times...I'm beginning to wonder....

I got this too & fortunately I have a trip booked for March I need to shift to April- perfect timing! Will cancel & start again :)

I think it's for just the one 'trip'.

Same! Booked my first VA flights in a while yesterday for that period and then received this email today!

The fine print.

If it is only for one trip, it is not very clear. I would say it is multiple trips.

Read that - it states nothing in relation number of trips. So the text in the main body is not contradicted, so it may be just for one 'trip'

But what constitutes a 'trip'?

I do agree it does not make sense - put it down to poor marketing.

...put it down to poor marketing.

...again :(

I got it too but not ready to book anything right now. I'd be curious to know how (or even if?) they're targeting a campaign like this.

Who didn't get it? Anyone with/without status?

My husband (gold), sister & Dad (red) all didn't get it. I'm plat & got it.

I received this offer to a day after i booked flights in July which makes me think it is targeted at those who have no flights booked in this time frame while your in "flight booking mode". Last week my dad received a triple points offer for filling up and BP as he uses BP occasionally. I tried to activate the offer with my velocity number after he emailed it through to me but was told this offer was not open to me which is unfortunate as my local servo is a BP.

Very suspicious marketing indeed.

I did not receive it, which is a shame as I've a couple of coast to coasts ahead yet to book...

This has been mentioned before but it may have something to do with your email preferences.
