Double velocity points (book by 14/12/22)

Well it seems as if the “upgrades” Velocity recently did with their overpriced loyalty management consultants have broken just about every part of the system from bonus SC to bonus points, even the ones administered wholly in their system.
 
My mum got the double points for a ML-SY return last week. They came through with the SCs.

ML-SY is MEL-SYD I assume?
When you say "last week" do you mean the flight was taken last week or the bonus points posted last week? If the latter, when was the flight?
Mine was a MEL-ADL-MEL return trip, all on the same day, just before Xmas. It's now been more than 4 weeks since that date so the bonus is overdue as per the T&Cs.

Sorry, should have been a little clearer! Yes it was a Melbourne to Sydney return trip taken last week. The double points were posted after each leg of the trip.

Wow, that's a gold strike there. Very lucky. I suspect the rest of us who still haven't received any bonus points yet may have to face an uphill battle (not sure, haven't had to follow this sort of issue up before with VA).

Same boat, I guess no-one has received them yet? I need them this week, have a trip to book that I want to use points on if I had enough (800 short currently)

Just check the amounts though, the 2,415 amount matches the original credit, however the 825 is lacking by about 400 points (the original was 1,215)- now to see how to chase this up.
 
My 6 flights all came through together sometime on Monday or Tuesday. Now if only the flights I've taken recently would credit I'd be happy. I find it funny that virgin and flybuys are together and both really slow at points, and Qantas and woolies together are really fast.
