Nope still waiting for DSC's from 26th Jan.

Have spoken to QFF as needed them before 31st Jan to click over to Gold. Was told that they could take 6 weeks. Shame Mr Pippy has had 4 more flights since then without Gold benefits and they wouldnt budge on just ticking his status over anyway.

on the posting date and status
my year ends 31st december
i flew in the 31st to get WP and got double sc's that posted on 2nd January but had an asterisk saying they did not count in this year
check your summary when it comes and if it says they do not count for this years total then they MUST count in the past year hence GOLD .....?.

Hi all, I received this offer and as I'm PS based in BNE, and had to go to SYD anyway, I took it up. The first time I flew from OOL, I missed my flight due to a bad accident on the highway, but was able to get on the next flight. On another trip, I had to spend an extra night in SYD as OOL was closed due to weather.

I've only had to wait 6 days at the most for the DSC to come across to my account.
Not sure if there's another thread here for this, but I have to say thanks for this board. The advice and tips have been so helpful.

Sorry should have added that Qantas have assured us that once the DSC's come through it will backdate to give him Gold, just frustrating that he has now missed out on extra miles and lounge access for his recent flights. We have an overseas trip next month and they have said they will credit them if not through by then, still that will mean no gold card to take with us.....just frustrating, it can not be that hard to credit status credits consistantly, whether DSC's or not, it makes no sense to me that some peoples come through within days and others weeks?

(To complipcate things we had to fly home out of Brisbane due to GC weather, these DSC's will have to be manually credited once the others are credited according to Qantas).

Would they not retrospectively credit those extra miles that should of been earned?
I would be chasing that up with them, but then again they might have something in the terms and conditions saying they do not have to?
