Double points for bookings with Qantas travel credit until the end of 2023

Looks like this offer has been reinstated following recent controversies around using travel credits.

Until 11.59pm (AEDT) 31 December 2023, Qantas Frequent Flyers can book an eligible flight using their travel credits and earn double Qantas Points. Qantas travel credits include Flight Credit, Qantas Pass, Qantas TravelPass, and Qantas Credit.

Registration is required.

The website FAQ suggests that rego is not strictly required - but believe nothing from QF so registered to get a formal email confirmation as proof. It seems openended as to flights but bit opaque whether it has to be QF metal, so caution there. Also note that FAQ (examine in full detail!) says only base or minimum earn rate, no status bonuses, so use them on long internat rather than domestic. Needless to say you will not magically earn millions of pts on this, it's only another sop to the hordes of angry QFF flyers out there

and yes they did not advise me directly about this "deal"', you have to find it thru Google or this site etc. All part of the new opaqueness that is Qantas, trying to hide your money so that you forget about it and pump up their balance sheet thru dodgy accounting
