I have a Krisflyer Platinum and booked a flight BNE -MAN return. I was under the impression that by using it I would get double points for booking on website and paying with CC. So far only the points via the CC (Amex 1.5x) points has come through - any idea of if this is still running and when the points come through?

Double points always meant to be double your actually dollar spent on SIA website, not on your fly miles. This card never does that...

Georgie if you are going to catch the Virgin train MAN Piccadilly to Euston in First Class book it on line otherwise it could cost you an extra 129 pounds each way.SQ don't do points on points flights as far as I have ever seen. How many points did you use and are you using A330 then the 777?

Yes - thats what I understood - do they come up on the Statement as bonus points or are they just included in the total points for the month

Should show as bonus points in a separate section, and be included in total points for the month.

Georgie that is really good news because we thought Queensland was bust like our Federal Government.I think if you used a Westpac American Express Kris Flyer card you should still get the loyalty points but I haven't kept up since March 15th changes.I tried to pay on that card last month for ticket surcharges and the site was partially out of order so it rejected that particular card.

Singapore is one of the most popular company..
People are ready pay double time for this package and have no hesitation.

Hiya Georgie,

Did you get this sorted out?

I had a similar occurance on a ticket I'd booked back in May, paid via Amex as well.

I first rang WBC spoke to a nice lady who explained to me that Points Issues are dealt with directly via Krisflyer.

So I rang them and basically got told that it has to go through Amex first but she added a note to my account, got my number and within 2days an Amex rep called.

I explained the situ and within 14days the 'Bonus Points' were credited to my account.

Have booked the same way since and not had any problems.

Hope that helps if you're still stuck.
