Hi guys,
It's been suggested to me that you can purchase SQ F or J tickets which count towards your PPS spend value, but credit miles to another *A FF program.
Does anyone know if this is possible, or have any experience in doing so?

I have a very long trip coming up to JFK via stops for a few days each in SIN and FRA, but then have to come back via FRA and SIN again for work rather than going round-the-world.
I want to credit the miles to LH Miles & More as it will push me to SEN (*G) for two years, however the cost of the tickets would push me to PPS on SQ if that was possible.

If I had to choose, I'd take LH SEN as it means I can redeem miles for LX F, whereas I can already redeem SQ F with lots of availability.

Any experience here?

believe this is possible... i have read (either here or ft) that you can inform the check in agent that you wish to do this.

Great thanks that's good to know. I will search FT, I vaguely remember seeing it mentioned there too.

Entirely possible, if any doubt don't let your SQ number near the booking and just retroclaim PPS credit later, once miles have reached the program you want them in.

I doubled dipped with a historical redemption.

It's not really "Double Dipping" though because PPS status is based on spend, while *A status is based on miles flown.
