Double Charging Issue since Sabre

Responded by Virgin Australia with " Hi Mike. We're very sorry to hear that. If you could please private message us your flight details and best phone and email contact we will follow it up for you straight away. "

Seen the same response many times before. Sometimes the victim is still getting nowhere days later.

5 minutes on the phone, Commonwealth reversed the transaction. Problem solved.

Although Virgin should resolve this, why aren't people calling their financial institutions to have them handle it? Everytime I've contacted mine about a double charge they've fixed it. Albeit not a Virgin double charge.

From what I read most of them do. And most of them say that their bank requires information from Virgin prior to reversing the charge.

Mine have told me to attempt to sort it out with the vendor first.
