Hi all,
I have a LOP-CGK on GA arriving at 10:40am followed by a 7:45pm departure for SYD on QF. My plan when booking was to allow a days work to be done in the 2 lounges I have access too at CGK. Tickets are on the same PNR but obviously different carriers/alliances. I will only have carry on.
I now have a fear that the QF flight will not open for check-in several hours after my arrival, leaving me stranded. Will GA issue my ticket in LOP or QF when I arrive in CGK?
From experience, VN didn't issue my QF ticket but as it was an international connection, I could use the transfer desk in BKK and hit the lounge within 10 minutes of landing. This time I will be arriving as a domestic passenger. I got caught out at CHC when I tried to checkin early and then visit the Antarctic Centre but forgot that there is limit on how early you can check-in.
