Being school holidays it seems that it is op up time for me. But are there any rules? My partner and I are travelling on the same flight on separate PNRs - he on a full Y ticket and me on a discount ticket (N). We are both WP and both a touch short of LTG. I am upgraded and he isn't. Even alphabetically he is before me. Only thing different is that so far this year he has had 4 upgrades and, before today, I had had 3. Does the op up fairy have a crooked wand, so to speak?

During the last school holidays (July) my dad (CX:Diamond, OWE) and sister (QF NB) were upgraded on SYD - BNE. Granted they were on the same ticket that time, but they take all sorts.
