Domestic Business Meals - Veg option?

Is Qantas like VA in that there is always a vegetarian option for the meal? (domestic business class, specifically BNE-->MEL)

You're supposed to have a choice of meal in J but there's no guarantee one will be meat free.
(And lately I've found there's often no choice anyway).

You should request a vegetarian meal in advance if you want one.

There is usually a salad on a lunch time flight which would be helpful.
That salad tends to have meat/fish which makes it less helpful lol.

From my experience you have to order a vegan meal rather than vegetarian.
