Hi everyone,

Just interested in your opinion on what I should do.

We are flying into DOH from JBG in J on QR and are due to arrive at 11.55pm. We are not transiting and will be in the country for 4 days.

Assuming it will take some time to clear customs and immigration, I'm thinking we might as well just stay in the Arrivals lounge for the rest of the night rather than trying to check into a hotel at about 2.00am in the morning. Would certainly save me some money and also I think be far more restful

Is this feasible, would we be allowed to do this or does anyone have a better option for such a late arrival?

Regards,

Nick

I didn't think DOH had an arrivals lounge - maybe you should check this before making any plans.
Personally I would just go straight to a hotel - sleep in and be fresh for your first day in Doha. You can't beat being able to close the door and having your personal space in my book.

Edit: Well, it seems they do have an arrivals lounge with food, showers etc. but I still prefer a real bed.
