Stupid me! Status has just reset. Heading to LOTFAP on a classic award. Got my SC run all booked! And totally forgot that i need the 4 eligible flight segments on QF as well.....

Looks like i am going to have 1410SC and zero status... :(

Partial Bright side is that flights back are paid and will count. I might change routing to go LAX-BNE-MEL-PER and also change my PER-SYD classic award to an ASA. Then it gets me the four by the time i am back in Perth....

Any other options?? Was counting on lounge access on all the flights back to Perth... LOL

Book a quick JASA somewhere? Change your flights to arrive a day early into the east coast and do a quick run? You're options are limited unfortunately. Also remember, it can take 3 days for AA flights to credit to QF so if you're flying back immediately after your run, you won't necessarily have WP or SG.

Changing from a Classic to an ASA is not going to be good on the points balance possibly too (but that said, if there's classic availability, the points plus pay ASA may not be so bad).

Play around and see. If you're after more detailed advice, let us know dates you want to look at travelling :)
