Does the Cathay Website charge a forex transaction fee?

Pretty sure I wasn’t charged a tx fee (neither by CX nor CC) buying Oz to China or Oz to USA via the CX website a few months ago

Just make sure it’s the AU site charging AUD?

Nope - they are actually one of the better carriers in this aspect. On Sunday I paid no fees booking a flight using my Amex that attracts a 3% intl forex fee.

This means that not only did they bill me domestically from Australia, but that they also don’t add a credit card surcharge into payments made with them. Love this a lot!
