I at least was able last night to get far enough to see availability, but it fell over at the booking stage. That's the furthest I've ever got.

I need to book it by 30 April...

I swear they make the website terrible on purpose to try and discourage people from actually taking up this benefit.

It's worked fine (for me at least) if there are "free" flights available, ie economy rewards availability. So I start my search on the VA website.

It's like trying to use a webpage in the 1990s.

Its a complimentary flight....they cost $0.00...unsure how they can be inflated?

It has rarely worked in all the years its been around now. You will eventually get there with some combination of cache clearing or incognito or trying different browsers. Maybe.

That’s easy. 1.11 is the deflated value. Puff them up and they turn into 0.00

If I book through Amex travel a fare might be $580 but if I book directly with Qantas on the same flight it might be $420.

I consider that a rip off
