I at least was able last night to get far enough to see availability, but it fell over at the booking stage. That's the furthest I've ever got.

I need to book it by 30 April...

I swear they make the website terrible on purpose to try and discourage people from actually taking up this benefit.

I've booked successfully several times but it is very clunky and the thing that annoys me the most is the fares are inflated

It's worked fine (for me at least) if there are "free" flights available, ie economy rewards availability. So I start my search on the VA website.

The webpage for booking the annual free flight you get with certain American Express cards.

It's like trying to use a webpage in the 1990s.
