Hi all

I'm trying to redeem a QFF classic award on MH but there seems to be no classic award availability on the flight that I want even though it's showing as completely open (from EF).

I was wondering if anyone knew whether MH releases more award seats to OW members closer to the date of the flight or if it's probably a hopeless situation. There is approximately one month to the flight still.

Thanks for all your help in advance guys.

Are you having a look on the Qantas website? For some reason, the QF site is not showing MH (or JL for that matter) availability. If you think there is a seat available, I would suggest calling Qantas to book. They will have access to award seats if they are available. You may even be able to get the phone assistance fee waived as you are unable to book online.

Hi Matt,

I am aware that the website does not show MH availability and was on the phone to them. The lady told me there's no availability which stumped me a little as the flight is showing as I2 on EF.

There are no seats showing as allocated on EF, which leads me to think the flight is wide open. As such, I was wondering if more seats would get released nearer to the date.

You could try using BAEC to search for MH flights.. They will display them online and it's easier than calling QF!

Wow, really? Well in that case I have no idea. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
