Long driving and ferry day to Stockholm, again campsite was out of town, so into Stockholm centre the next day






Went over to the Vasa Museum, fairly sure this is a photo from the grounds


Whole group then went on a cruise around the waterways. I'm in there somewhere

More wandering around after the cruise, then to get rid of my remaining Krona, went to a convenience mart to get some ready made pasta. Pay by weight and the money I had bought me such a small amount, the guy serving felt sorry for me and filled the container up

Another long driving day from Stockholm to Oslo, with the campsite again being a distance from the city.

Holmenkollen ski jump the next morning







There was a ski jump simulator which was extrmeley well done, and I'm assuming, realistic




Dropped at the city centre, wandered, visited the National Gallery also visited the Viking Ship museum

On the road again, and a stop at the site of the 94 Winter Olympics, Lillehammer

Back down to the town for some lunch

Today was a drive and then ferry ride to Geiranger, then a boat cruise up and back along Geirangerfjord

Had to backtrack east to the town of Dombas, before heading north from there and reaching our afternoon destination of Trondheim




One of the lads from the tour commandeering a bike and using the lift to get up the hill. Had a crack as well, not as easy as it looks.

A long day in the bus as we went to Mo I Rana, went through hell

Next day was a visit to Svartisen Glacier, comprised as a boat ride then a bit of as hike across the rocks

After the glacier we moved on to the Arctic Circle Centre

Thoroughly enjoying this retro TR, and not only because I have (once again) been to many of the same places.

An extremely long travel day, including a boat ride between Bognes and Skarberget.









A late afternoon stop in Narvik





Into our stop of Moen at about 8 o'clock, bit of dinner. As we were getting further north, as expected, temperature was getting a lot colder, so a rugged up early night.

Drove up to Nordkapp in the evening, was dark when we got there and North Cape Hall was closed, so not a lot to see unfortunately

A bitterly cold morning and today a deep sea fishing excursion was on offer. Not for me, so a slow start to the morning, then took the 30 minute or so stroll into town.
