Does anyone ever use their full luggage allowance on holidays?

The +1 and I travel HLO for our trips except when we bring the bicycles. When packed each box is around 17kg including cycling clothing, spare tubes etc.

I did have to check a bag coming back from LHR last year though as I had a number of jars of marmalade. Still well under the NB Y limit let alone the WP F one I was allowed.

I have trouble comprehending how people think they need so much stuff when traveling. Sports equipment I can understand but half your wardrobe?
