I'm sorry if this has been asked before as I am only new to the boards. If you could clear this up for me that would be great.
Do you get velocity points for buying lounge passes or membership?

I would imagine that you would earn points if you used an eligible credit card for the purchase (Virgin Flyer card, American Express with the appropriate Membership Rewards program, etc.), but otherwise no additional points.
