Hi all,
If you book a JQ flight and enter your QFF no, will that flight appear in your QF mobile app? I've found the app quite useful.

My second question, if can I buy the tickets through QF's website and get the 'plus' bundle? It seems that QF.com only offer the red e-deal price, or the fully flex. The reason I ask is that I get bonus points with my CC for spending money with QF (and not JQ).
Many thanks.

If you book on QF only for a JQ flight, you do not have the option of a bundle, you practically earn zilch.
You can go and play around on the QF website and see how many SC earnt in relation to JQ flights.
I would personally, and have done it, for myself, is to book seats I want on the JQ website and pay the plus bundle there.
Even if the JQ flight appears on QF website as a QF flight/with a QF flight number, don't assume you will earn QF FF and QF SCs. Only way is to book (repeat) at the JQ website and pay plus bundle.
As for JQ booking appearing on QF iphone app, don't know, I don't use that.
From 1997 to about 2012, I was crazy on QF FF points, but have discovered that the most important thing now, is NOT QF FF points, but QF SCs, and plus bundles are the only way to earn QF SCs for JQ flights.
Bonus points for paying QF flights on AMEX, and no bonus points for paying for JQ flights with AMEX, that's a personal choice.
If you have the $, you could apply for a Jetstar Mastercard, no cc booking fees for booking JQ flights with the Jetstar Mastercard, which mean you gain, a bit, but still gain.

I don't know about the app. I find that it is flat out showing my Qantas flights.

As for booking a JQ flight on the QF website. If it is a solely JQ itinerary then the QF website will kick you onto the JQ website and you can book whatever. But I'd say no bonus credit card points. As you note, it is possible to book a Max bundle JQ flight on the QF website. Just take the most expensive option.

A Max JQ seat booked on QF website from MEL to CHC, and a Flex seat, coming back on QF CHC to SYD to MEL, earns 2960 QF FF points, and 60 SC.
Without the JQ seat, ie, one way, MEL to SYD to CHC, also still earns 2960 QF FF points and 60 QF SCs.

What? Based on information shown on the Qantas website while booking? Information that is known to be wrong?

JQ only trips do not appear in the Qantas app. If you're connecting to/from a Qantas flight on the same PNR then it should show.
