Do AMEX points booked flights accrue ff points?

I am wondering if a flight booked through AMEX using AMEX points will generate qff points and status credits?

I certainly hope so. As far as QF is concerned, it is just a revenue booking from AMEX travel. If you look at the invoice/receipt, is for the value "paid", and then broken into the amount paid using points (1c pp if you are on the same redemption path as I was), and then the amount charged to the card.

Probably very similar to a QF point-plus-pay - which also earns points and SC.
