Do Accor hotels generally store your luggage for one or more days between stays?

In my experience, the answer is yes.

At Novotel CDG they were happy to store a checked bag for eight days for me.

So I was shocked at the Novotel in Barcelona city where they declined to store my checked bag for two days before I returned for another stay.

So what are people‘s experience with this?

I suppose they’re not obligated to but no harm in asking

Left my bag for 2 weeks in a random hotel in Guam following a 1 night stay, and wasn’t going back there. They agreed but I think I tested the friendship

The Mercure Singapore Bugis had no issue with me leaving a checked-sized bag for 3 x 2-night sojourns.

I think the answer is that there are Accor hotels and Accor hotels.

Just don't expect consistency.

I cannot say I have had the privilege (if we may call it that) of asking a hotel to keep my luggage for more than the day. Aside from one hotel in San Francisco, Accor hotels have generally been more than happy to hold my bag for the day no questions.

I do however, have an interesting conundrum that is tangentially related to this. As some of you are probably aware, this Kangaroo has moved to Germany to take up a PostDoc position near Frankfurt. As you can imagine, we don't have an apartment right away and are currently searching for them and so are staying at Accor properties near Frankfurt Hbf. Last week I applied for a Deutschebank account and was told the card would be mailed to my address (the Accor hotel I was staying at). Does anyone know if Accor properties will hold mail for travellers and let you pick it up?

I don't think that being an Accor hotel or not makes much of a difference.

In general, I've found that hotels of all brands etc. have been willing to store my suitcase between back-to-back stays, if it's for a reasonable amount of time (e.g. less than a week). But I never 100% expect it.

I’ve never had an issue with hotel getting mail for me and had a few Amazon deliveries sent to hotels as well. I usually give them a heads up though

As to the first part, I’ve never had issues leaving luggage for even up to 2 weeks but some hotels have very small luggage storage areas and may decline it.

As to the second part, yes I’ve had mail and parcels delivered to the hotel no issue

Both of these aren’t exclusive to Accor either and most hotels will offer the same
