Just thought id pass on some useful info. Had helped a friend book MCO to JFk on DL T class (discount economy) and was offered the purchase of economy comfort for $29. You purchase the ticket then they offer you an extra, Which was the EC option. Airfare was a alittle over $100, so % wise it's near 30% more but for a 3 hr flight thought it was ok value . This means 10cm extra legroom and priority boarding. No food as its domestic.

Interesting - I'm looking at a DL SFO - LAX flight next year.

Economy (L) class is $83, First (A) Class is $200. Former earns 10 SC with Velocity, latter 40.

Wow that's pretty cheap...I'd gather from their website the economy comfort for that would be $19. Makes the First class pretty attractive for SC earn.

All my DL flights were booked as normal econ (we were travelling with others) and everytime I got into the Economy Comfort seats, on my last USA trip
Actually had row 4 from SFO to LAX which was wonderful as well.

I just asked in the DL lounges (accessed via VA Gold) and they always moved me forward, if I wasn't already as far forward as possible from the check in agent.
