Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

My cat is enjoying the warmth of the heater and especially the electric blanket I have now installed on the bed. Apparently I move over to her side of the bed too much and need to be pushed back to the cold side!

Sounds like you pamper your feline friend with the upmost affection HVR.

No doubt the finest cuisine is also served to your feline friend.

I'm in Chiang Mai right now and found the Catmosphere Café which have lovely cats n kittens to play with as you enjoy your iced thai tea..... quite a bit of fun and a way to spend the afternoon indoors....definitely recommended if you are in the neighborhood.

Here are some of the kitty's

Nominating this contender for the naughtiest cat of the year:
A charming 1 year old of my acquaintance.
We always said that he was going to cost his owners a fortune but were thinking more of vet fees as he is prone to getting into trouble.
The husband of the household was organised for his OS trip the next day. All assembled and packed.
The young chap ( who shall remain nameless as he has a distinctive name that describes his personality in a slightly derogatory way) investigated the luggage, found the passport and pulled it out. There's not much that a cat can do with a passport on his own, so he took it to his bestie and accomplice, the retriever, who obligingly chewed it up.
Unfortunately, I haven't heard how the story ends.

Hopefully it will work out in the end.

The postscript I did eventually get, it was actually a flight that day, which had to be cancelled. At considerable expense a new passport was issued in 5 hours.( to add icing to the cake, the macerated passport was only 2 weeks old) and he boarded another flight much later that night.
When he got to Singapore everyone wanted to know how the cat was!
The chip has never been found....

We're using a verbal contract.
One of my cats has me on a roster system, where I am employed 1 week out of 2 or 3.
I have yet to meet my co-employees although I have a rough idea where they live.

Our newest foster cat.... she's said to be 16yo and had been living with a dozen or more other cats from an elderly person who had hoarding issues.... she's doing well for her age and just had some dental work done. And She's such a sweety too. hopefully she will find a loving family soon.

I've become a cat owner for the first time this year. Best thing ever as it had been years since I last had a pet which were guinea pigs.

Meet Sum Jung. My wife made that name up for her. My mum laughed when she first heard that name as it sounds similar to the word 'heart beat' in Cantonese. We found her as a stray kitten stuck in a tree and found no owner. I took her to the vet and they found no microchip and said she's yours if you want her. She's been with us since January. :)

I'm about to feed her rare roast beef here. She's loves that stuff!
