Well it seems that someone that can't be named, i.e., not me, didn't close an outdoor gate properly and he escaped! :(

Fortunately I found him in next door's vegie patch, and he was soon captured with the enticement of a piece of chicken. Bit of a sucker in that way. So glad, would have been beside myself otherwise. Gate now modified with a strong self closing mechanism.

Thank heavens, I would have been distraught had it been Munn the Cat that went missing.

Its very handy when they have a strong food motivaton. Our 13 yo Didi can jump up a >2m wall if she hears the sound of a spoon on a can or her bowl, and she isn't skinny. Very useful when she is outside at dusk in the warmer months and needs to be brought in for the night. This cold weather though she much prefers to be in all the time.
