Really? He was just a random "oops my cat had kittens" moggy. No idea of breed or anything like that - just the old "domestic long hair"Amazing I had 2 cats with the similar markings.

I think its just common markings and perhaps because people favour grey cats.
IIRC I saw a survey that people like grey cats the most.

Same here.... my three cats are taking it in turn to purr and head-bump me. Only downside - while I was asleep one of them thought my heavily bandaged knee was a convenient scratching post: aaaarrrrgggghhhh!
