A bit off-topic, but how do you guys find the hard limit for the card... Cannot find the number in the letter/app/card service system. I am quite curious to find out my hard/soft limit...

I can't remember what they start you on but I think it's $10,000 or so. I suspect you won't get far finding out what it is from the Call Center staff but you never know. You can request a higher soft limit which they may do at their discretion. I imagine with the NAB takeover pending, they might be reluctant to do much at this stage but never hurts to ask. Otherwise, it's like Amex, just a matter of establishing a spending and payment history and they will creep it up over time.

No idea what mine is, but can go over $25k on mine, never got to the limit yet

Was on the phone to confirm my setup of direct debit( the representative was confused as me as I uploaded the form on cardservices website and it actually went through...), and he told me I may receive a call when I reach 12k at the moment but that is not a limit.

Hey guys, just FYI - was speaking to Diners Club today and they have suspended all new applications for the Personal Diners Card (not business or corporate). You can't even download the application form from the website anymore.
The consultant didn't actually realise they had stopped applications, he had to research it himself and comeback with that answer. He didn't mention if it was connected to the NAB takeover, but I'm sure it is.
Hopefully NAB keep it going into the future and invest more money and energy into Diners.

I also wanted to add possibly a useful bit of info when applying for the card - the applications team told me that they won't approve an application if you have an outstanding balance on any other credit card at time of application, no matter how small it is.
I don't know who much of that is true, but two seperate consultants mentioned that. So if anyone is getting knocked back for the personal card, maybe clear your balances before applying again?
